Can I Use Any Liquid In My Vape?

Vapers have access to a range of e-liquids. Most contain propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG), flavoring, and nicotine.

PG typically delivers a stronger throat hit, while VG produces bigger clouds of vapor. When selecting your vaping solution, the ratios between PG and VG must also be taken into account.

What is e-liquid?

E-liquid (or e-juice) is the liquid used in electronic cigarettes and vape pens. It typically contains nicotine from tobacco, flavorings, glycerin, or propylene glycol for storage.

E-liquids are stored in bottles or cartridges that are heated to create an aerosol that the user inhales. Unfortunately, this process releases various hazardous chemicals and metals.

E-liquids are often marketed as “cooling” flavors such as menthol, mint, or ice/iced/icy. These chill e-liquids have become especially popular with youth smokers of electronic cigarettes who have never previously smoked traditional cigarettes.

  • PG

When selecting a liquid for your vape พอต, the first factor you should consider is the PG: VG ratio. This ratio has an immense impact on everything from the flavor and throat hit to cloud production – everything from cloud production and flavor production.

High PG juices offer a more intense throat hit that may be more reminiscent of smoking. Furthermore, they are more effective at carrying flavor than VG.

Vapers looking to keep their activity discreet in public should consider switching over to a high PG e-liquid. This type of vapor isn’t as thick, meaning fewer clouds are produced when exhaled.

Alternatively, if you don’t care about throat hits or want to chase large clouds, a high VG e-liquid is an ideal option. Just be aware that it will have a thick consistency and wick harder than lower PG liquids.

  • VG

Propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) are the two primary liquids used in vaping, which play an essential role in creating vapor and providing flavor. When heated by an E-Cig mod, these two substances become vapors that you inhale.

A popular PG: VG ratio is 50/50, although there are many different variations available. Generally speaking, try to steer clear of anything higher than this, as it can make your vaping experience less enjoyable.

  • Nicotine

Nicotine binds with nicotinic-cholinergic receptors in the brain, neuromuscular junctions, adrenal glands, and ganglia (groups of nerve cells), activating dopamine, acetylcholine, and other neurotransmitters responsible for pleasure, pain relief, and mood regulation.

Nicotine, when inhaled, causes a brief feeling of euphoria that wears off quickly. This explains why nicotine is commonly included as an ingredient in smoking cessation products such as nicotine gum and patches.
