Randy Houser To Release New Single “How Country Feels” Monday May 7‏

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 01, 2012) – Randy Houser joined Stoney Creek Records in late 2011. Named the Most Played New Artist of the Year in 2009 by Mediabase, previous hit singles include “Boots On,” “Whistlin’ Dixie” and “Anything Goes.” Now he’s back with an upbeat, addictive new single, “How Country Feels,” impacting radio Monday, May 7. Fans will be able to download the new song on iTunes Tuesday, May 8.

“How Country Feels” is Randy’s first single release on Stoney Creek Records and serves as a sneak-peek of what fans can expect from his third album that will hit stores later this year.

“My entire life has changed since my last single, I mean in every way,” shares Randy. “I got married to my beautiful wife, have an amazing baby boy, and a passionate new label team that feels more like family.  One thing that has not changed though is my passion to make music and grow as an artist.  I’m so excited about ‘How Country Feels’ and the reaction I’m getting out on the road when playing it live!”

In support of the new release, Randy is currently headlining a Jagermeister Presents Tour and will be performing at other festivals nationwide.

Jägermeister Presents Randy Houser

New Rochelle, NY– Jägermeister Herbal Liqueur, a brand as deeply rooted in music as it is in mythology and lore, is proud to announce the Jägermeister Presents Tour featuring country music singer/songwriter Randy Houser. The tour will kick off on April 26th in Knoxville, Tenn. and will hit 16 cities across the nation with Rick Monroe as the supporting act.

Jägermeister, the No. 1 selling imported liqueur in the United States, has a long history of supporting bands, both from a local level to national amphitheater acts. The brand has spent almost two decades developing artists and has seen many go from obscurity to the top of their fields. “We’re thrilled to be working with Randy Houser again, someone who appreciates our brand and knows how to enjoy it! He’s grown as a musician and songwriter and Jager’s been with him from the beginning,” says Rick Zeiler, Director of Strategic Marketing at Sidney Frank Importing Company, Inc.

Houser adds, “In 2009 I had the chance to be out on Jägermeister‘s first country tour with my buddy Pat Green right as I was about to put out my first single, so I couldn’t be more excited to be out on this Jägermeister Presents Tour. It’s gonna be one hell of a party!”

The Los Angeles Times wrote that Randy Houser adds “grit to the genre” with his debut album Anything Goes, which positioned the Mississippi-born, soul-drenched country singer/songwriter to become one of the next big artists to emerge in the genre. The album, which produced Top 5 single “Boots On,” and Top 20 single “Anything Goes,” landed Houser nominations at the Country Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Television Awards. His sophomore album, They Call Me Cadillac, was met with praise from The Washington Post and The Boston Globe, among others, naming it a top release of the year. After touring alongside Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson and more on the Country Throwdown Tour in the summer of 2011, Houser began recording his first album on Stoney Creek Records, and his first radio single from the forthcoming release is slated for spring 2012. Randy and his crew are all ok, but the same can’t be said for their tour bus and personal stuff. As you’ll hear Randy say in this video he shot with his cell phone while the fire was going on, all of his personal stuff is gone. We’re sorry about this Randy, but we’re thankful you and your team are all safe.
