Brad Paisley’s ‘Old Alabama’ Featuring Alabama Moves Up To Number One On The Country Charts

The last time Alabama had a number one hit was in 1993 when Reckless hit number one. Well, they’re back on top of the charts courtesy of Brad Paisley’s Old Alabama, which moved up to number one for the week of June 4, 2011. This is Brad’s 17th number one hit, and Alabama’s 33rd. Enjoy!

Kenny Chesney Does The Right Thing And Plays In Tuscaloosa

Kenny Chesney’s tour stopped in Tuscaloosa, AL on Wednesday night, and it was a very emotional experience for both he and the fans. In this video, Kenny talks about landing in Tuscaloosa and what was going through his mind before he launches into an emotional My Home’s In Alabama. The video isn’t that great, but the audio in the video is very clear.

Kenny lunched with University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban, who has donated $50,000 toward rebuilding. Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox thanked Kenny and team for donating show proceeds to GiveTuscaloosa.com. Today Is A Memorable Day For Jason Aldean – He Scored His First Number One Single Today Back In 2006

On this day back in 2006, Jason Aldean’s Why moved up to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts. It was his first number one country single. He’s since scored four more number ones. Don’t You Wanna Stay with Kelly Clarkson was his last, but his latest single Dirt Road Anthem has a shot at being his next as it moved up from #17 to #14 on the charts this week. Enjoy!
